Demure, elegant and classic. The crochet bolero is a wardrobe must for 2006. Using a 4 row pattern repeat crochet lace technique for the body, and a deceptively simple ribbed sleeve and band around entire bolero. Our sample is made in Plymouth Yarn's Suri Merino (55% suri alpaca, 45% superfine merino wool) The bolero pattern has sizes for finished chest measurements 35" through 47". Once you wrap it around yourself, you'll never want to take it off. Requirements: crochet hook US I 9, 5.5mm and 10 (12, 14, 16, 18) balls of Suri Merino Yarn (110 yards per 50 gm ball) to complete finished sizes of 35” (37”, 41”, 44”, 49”)
Gauge: 4hdc = 1”, 8 rows hdc tbl = 3”, 1 pattern repeat = 1.75”, 4 rows of pattern repeat = 2"
