New Shawl and Scarf for Fall 2005 Collection

Well, I know that the sun is shining and that summer is about to begin. Believe me, I am a sun bunny and spend as much time as possible outdoors in the warm weather. However, in the garment industry, this is also the time to start samples for fall and winter.

Here is my first sample for the Fall/Winter 2005 Collection: a cape/shawl with button closure and a coordinating multi-texture, keyhole scarf. Sample shown in Plymouth Yarn's Outback Wool (100% virgin wool, and very soft) in a natural ombre. The button closure makes this cape very functional and "hands free". The coordinating scarf can be attached to the neckline of the cape for addditional convenience. This is a real eye-catcher. And with a simple, easy to read pattern calling for US 10.5 (6.5mm) needles, its quick to work up, too.
