Long ago, I used to drive around at SharkHunter's nap time if I couldn't get him to go to his room for a nap. Within a few short minutes, he would fall asleep in his car seat and I would proceed to the nearest parking lot to work on my knitting and crochet deadlines while he napped. This week, I drove a friend to a lengthy job interview and assured my friend that I would be absolutely fine waiting in the car (knowing very well that I had looming knitting deadlines and loved the idea of zero distractions sitting in the car and knitting!)
In this picture, I am sitting in a grocery store parking lot (just like the good old days) and knitting away on a secret project.
